The Tippmann A-5 is one of the most popular scenario markers in the industry. The current version features an updated Cyclone Feed System, a new external selector switch, a larger front grip, a new stock barrel, a rehauled receiver design, and revamped hardware. Response Trigger kit
The Response Trigger kit allows you to increase your A-5's rate of fire and even achieve sustainable full-auto operation without the use of a battery powered circuit board. A pneumatic piston is fed excess air from the power tube via an external transfer tube each time the marker is fired. The transferred air activates the piston, causing it to reset the trigger to fire extra shots without extra trigger pulls. The rate of fire can be adjusted using the piston's flow valve.
New Cyclone Feed System
The pneumatically operated Cyclone Feed System uses excess air from the A-5's firing sequence to activate a ratchet-wheel that feeds paint to the marker. The system virtually eliminates paint breaks in the breech due to misfeeds and has a feed rate of 15 balls per second. The latest version sports an improved paddle design that is easier on paint and reduces the 'popcorn' effect of previous models that produced dry feeds. It also has a more secure connection point for increased durability.
New Selector Switch
Tippmann replaced the old push-button safety with an ergonomic and easy to use selector switch. In addition to comfort, the selector switch adds an additional degree of realism to the A-5.
New Foregrip
The new A-5 features a longer front grip with a better feel. The foregrip has a front tang and can be removed and replaced with tactical upgrades.
New Stock Barrel
The A-5's 8.5" stock barrel is stone-honed for improved accuracy and features new porting to reduce the A-5's sound profile.
Redesigned Internal Bore
To help remove internal components, the A-5's receiver features a wider internal bore. The new design enables faster field stripping and easier maintenance. It also produces a more light-weight receiver for a lighter overall marker weight.
New Tombstone Connections
The new A-5 tombstone design produces a more secure fit and disengages with less fuss. As a result, maintenance is faster and easier than ever.
New Sling Mounts
Brand new sling mounts have been included to eliminate the need to purchase third-party upgrade mounts.
X7 Low Profile Hopper
Tippmann replaced the old and bulky A-5 loader with a low-profile, X7 style model. The change yields a clearer sight-line without sacrificing paint capacity.
New Black Gas Line
The new A-5 gas line features a black-out design for a more stealthy feel and improved durability over the old steel braided design.
