The core of the Luxe TM40 represents the next evolutionary step in the divorced spool design concept. The revamped core features refined flow paths, increased overall volume, and advanced machining techniques that put the Luxe TM40 bolt system in a class of its own.
- Performance: An improvement on the World Cup winning Luxe X core, the TM40 bolt system’s optimized air flow and terminal air delivery means greater efficiency, lower operating pressure, less recoil, and a softer sound signature. You can expect up to 1800 shots from a 77ci / 4500psi HPA tank, and velocities of 300 FPS at the incredibly low operating pressure of 110psi.
- Shot Feel: The shot feel of the Luxe TM40 core has been dialed in through extensive testing in the hands of professional paintball’s top players, including more than 8 weeks of hands-on evaluation and feedback by 2-time World Cup winner Ryan Moorhead of Houston Heat. The result is a crisp, confidence-inspiring shot with minimum recoil in every firing mode, at every rate of fire, and in every weather condition.
- Mechanically Optimized: The TM40 represents an expansion of the Luxe platform’s usability – it’s the first Luxe to have mechanical conversion capabilities, which means you can take the best paintball marker in the world to mechanical competitions. *Mechanical conversion requires a TM40 mechanical frame, which is sold separately.
- ICE Plating: The Luxe TM40 retains the incredible ICE-Coating technology, world-renowned for its high durability and self-lubricating properties. The ICE Friction System ensures that all moving components operate with minimal friction and very little maintenance. The extreme hardness of the ICE coating prevents scratches and damage from debris.
Frame System
The Luxe TM40’s Pro-Lock frame allows the player to remove and replace their grip-frame without tools, utilizing an uncompromising locking system that is more durable than conventional hardware. The Luxe Pro-Lock frame sets the industry standard for ease of use and durability in tool-free marker maintenance.
- Tool-less: The Pro-Lock frame utilizes a front and rear latch mechanism to allow players to remove their frame in just a few seconds, without the need for tools. By using both horizontal and vertical latch engagement, the Pro-Lock frame has greater resistance to twisting and flexing when compared to frames secured by conventional hardware.Each mechanism has a built-in fail-safe vent to prevent removal while gassed up, making maintenance a simple, safe, and approachable experience.
- Durable & Rebuildable: Every component of the Pro-Lock frame latching mechanism has been tested for extreme durability. Used by the best paintball teams in the world, the Pro-Lock frame has proven its strength and dependability.
- In addition to its durability, the latch mechanisms of the Pro-Frame are completely rebuildable and replaceable if damage does ever occur. This means repairs can be made to the mechanism itself, without any chance of stripped threads or broken hardware.
- Mechanical Capable: A tool-less solenoid manifold, combine with the Pro-Frame system allow the player to switch to mechanical configuration in just 30 seconds, without the need for tools. *Conversion kit sold separately.
- Adjustability & Feel: The Luxe TM40’s trigger system can be set up to fit a wide range of preferences. Fully adjustable in either electronic or mechanical configuration, the Luxe trigger has near infinite adjustability. By utilizing a single mounting screw and fully sealed roller bearings, the EZ-Axis trigger system simplifies adjustment and removal of the Luxe trigger while increasing its resistance to dirt contamination. One tool is all that is needed to remove, adjust or install your trigger without the need to remove the frame.
Electronics System
The Luxe TM40’s electronics system is intuitive and durable, offering ease of use unparalleled in any other marker. With voice prompts and a vivid OLED screen, navigation is natural and adjustments are straightforward.
Featuring incredible battery life, USB-C software updates, and a further refined layout – the Luxe TM40 control board is the single best control system ever used in a Luxe.

- Wireless Connections: The Inteli-connect system utilizes contact pads throughout the marker eliminating the need for wires or plugs. All major electronic components can be removed and replaced with minimal chance of handling errors, never be intimidated by electronics again.

Breech System
The Luxe TM40’s Opti-Breach System is designed around the interaction of the paintball, chamber and bolt face all working in symphony to minimize force. Low angle lever detents reduce pressure on the ball and offer incredibly long life. The vision system delivers excellent performance in extreme conditions and can be serviced without the need for tools. Finally, the open face bolt contacts the paintball on its strongest location, its outside edge, evenly distributing force as the ball travels within the breach.
Air Delivery System
Designed from the ground up for maximum flow and durability, the Max-Flo regulator is also incredibly simple to service. Complete maintenance can be completed in minutes with a single tool. A redesigned regulator seat is more resistant to wear as well as being reversible for twice the life. The Max-flo is simply the highest flow, and most durable regulator ever equipped to the Luxe platform.
Barrel System
The Freak XL is the latest generation of the world-renowned interchangeable bore barrel system. Custom milled and styled for the Luxe TM40, it is the last barrel you will ever need. Players can utilize the Freak XL Boremaster Kit (sold separately) to access a wide range of bore sizes to ensure players the most consistent and accurate shot possible.
The Luxe TM40 ships with a .687 insert, additional bores sold separately.
